We have a thriving local outreach community, partnering with local schools and organizations to be Jesus’ hands and feet to a hurting world.
We also partner with regional and global organizations and missionaries to support the Gospel being spread to the world.

Local Outreach

Captain Gray — Day of the Child
APR 30 | 4:30-6:00P

IDCC is coming alongside this school as a sponsor as they host the 2nd Annual Dia del Nino/Day of the Child event. It allows us to encourage and support the staff, students, and their families. It is a very special event for them and they expect to have 600 students and their families attend.

We would like to provide volunteers to assist with setup, cleanup, and run games.

Sign ups will be at the Local Outreach table on Sundays if you are able to help - this is a perfect opportunity for Community Groups to participate in together!

Regional Outreach

Church Venture Northwest

Church Venture Northwest is a covenant community of churches in the Pacific Northwest committed to offering support to churches, helping to plant new churches, and providing other resources, training, and enrichment to churches and their pastors. As an affiliate church with CVNW, Imago Dei benefits from the fellowship of other churches in the region that share in the same beliefs and vision of sharing the Gospel. Imago Dei's pastoral staff regularly participates in regional meetings and training with other local pastors, and cultivates fellowship among our church communities in the area. CVNW is not a denomination, and does not require financial support for affiliation, but Imago Dei partners through regular financial contributions and active participation in the covenant community of CVNW. You can learn more about CVNW from their website.

Mia Sheats (Alexander)

Mia serves as one of our regional outreach partners through her residency work at Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Travis Avenue is a missionally-focused church with a residency program that equips individuals for service in ministry. Mia is the daughter of Derek and Stephanie Alexander, who have been part of the body of IDCC for many years. Mia got involved with Travis Avenue while attending college at TCU, and her experiences there led her to seek residency with the church to develop the skills to provide ministry leadership support to college aged students. Imago Dei partners with Mia to provide prayer and support from the church body as she follows this call, as well as financially through regular contributions to support her in her residency.
